Crowned with stars and crushing the evil twin-headed serpent

South Coast - The Woman of the Apocalypse image straight out of the Book of Revelation (12:1-18) has appeared on the face of the gigantic full moon.

Bearing all the hallmarks of Biblical prophecy the Lunar Madonna's sighting fulfills an ancient promise to come during Earth's greatest time of crisis.

The magnificent image appeared soon after dusk as the huge Spring full moon rose over the horizon above Arundel Castle's American Quarter.

Local skywatchers looked stunned as someone started quoting the Biblical passage about 'a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars'.

Some even observed that the iconic image looked uncannily similar to renaissance paintings of the Virgin Mary crushing a twin-headed serpent.

Art critics have previously remarked that the paintings' two-faced forked-tongue crawler bears a remarkable facial resemblance to the 42nd and 43rd US Presidents 'and Tony Blair'.

"It's the biggest full moon since the first faltering footsteps of Bill Clinton's 1992 White House campaign," local historian Sir Reggie Gusset told the Chichester Evening Argus.

Clinton famously visited the Castle ahead of his first Presidential tilt and even launched his 1996 UK makeover and Presidential re-election bid at the Castle with an interview for UK TV with Jeremy Paxman.

West Sussex numerologists have noted that the previous super full moon of March 18 1992 took place at 18:18GMT - an apocalyptic number associated with prophecy.

This weekend's portents come ahead of the Vernal Equinox tomorrow night at 23:40GMT.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
