China, Russia, and Iran are all officially considered democracies and all have elected presidents, just like the European nations. Isn't that great?

They are also friends with Turkey - another 'democratic nation' that has had the same 'president' for 20 years.
Putin has been 'President' (or leading Russia) for about 30 years. He just somehow keeps being 're-elected President', just like clockwork.
China's 'President' - Xi - is really a 'Premier'. But China likes having a real 'President' like everybody else!
It is a dream come true - the world is full of 'democracies'.
It was predicted by many world leaders in the 1920s and 1930s that scientific progress would eventually make the whole world 'democratic'.
Well, it finally happened!
