Al Gore provokes The Lorax

The Lorax and Al Gore have become engaged in a bitter war of words on Twitter as to who has done more for environmental awareness and the observance of Earth Day. The Former Vice-President threw down the gauntlet yesterday when he called Mr. Lorax a short, hairy pussy who thinks he owns the movement, to which Lorax replied "Look in the mirror, bitch!"

Lorax, who uses the handle @speaks4trees, and Mr. Gore, @chickenlittle, have escalated their rhetoric today on the annual observance of the environmental holiday.

It seems Mr. Gore started the feud a while back when he tweeted, "Proud of my work re #EarthDay. Hit movie, Nobel Prize, even The Lorax would b jealous!"

The Lorax responded, "@chickenlittle Bite me. Hit movie here 2 and brought awareness when u were in diapers."

The former VP charged back, "@speaks4trees I've done more fear mongering than u ever did. Stop wasting my time!"

"@chickenlittle Stop by sometime and I'll shove a Truffula Tree up your ass!" Mr. Lorax shot back.

There seems to be no end in sight for the war of words between the two and fans of each have joined in the fray to fiercely defend their particular hero.

One tweet stated, "@chickenlittle F you and your ego. Lorax loves Mother Earth. You're just in it for $'s!"

A 7 year-old supporter of Mr. Gore chimed in, "@speaks4trees Al Gore hates Thneeds too! Leave him alone to scare people!"

Mother Nature did not return our phone calls but did issue a statement saying only that she would be disciplining both of them for their childish behavior.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
