Spending all day outside a Primark, security guard Barry Waldhorn is wondering where his life went wrong.
‘I just thought that as a bloke in my forties, I might have had more to show for it than this’ bewailed Barry through his moustache.
‘I did well at school, got a degree, had a couple of high flying gigs in finance, and now this.'
Barry spends his life patrolling up and down outside the Primark, which is said to be the biggest one in England.
‘I mean’ started Barry, slightly more brightly ‘It is the biggest Primark in the country, so I am guarding the biggest supply of Primark Clothing in the country, which is something, but when I tell people what I do, and dates ask, then, well, they are never impressed, and I don’t think you would be either.'
We left Barry stopping a strapping teenager from going in. ‘Sorry Mate, too many people are in the store at the moment, you will just have to wait a while.'
