McClaren's strategy meeting.

Steve McClaren has been fired from the England post and replaced with someone competent. This according to a freak dream shared by Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard.

According to Gerrard, "It was really weird, I was having this dream and Steve McClaren had been fired. Then, instead of 'settling' for someone, England actually appointed someone good to be the manager. I woke up smiling and the phone rang; It was Wayne (Rooney). Apparently he was having a dream about old women, when suddenly one of them told him the same thing; Steve McClaren had been fired and replaced with Guus Hiddink.

Guus Hiddink, the replacement in Rooney's dream has managed to lead South Korea to the Semi's of a World Cup and Australia into the round of 16.

McClaren once led Middlesbrough to a Uefa Cup loss.

Currently Hiddink is in charge of the Russian team. Despite the fact that the Russian team train by sitting in front of a large cozy fire while getting incredibly drunk on Vodka and occasionally screaming 'Strong like bear!' they have still won more games than England.

Apparently, Chelsea's Frank Lampard also had the dream. However, in his dream, the first thing the new manager did was take him out of the team.

Despite the shared vision of a better world, Steven Gerrard ended by stating, "Of course we all have every confidence in the manager."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
