ALVIN, Texas - (Sports Satire) - The Sport's Mirror has just broken the story that Hall of Fame super star pitcher Nolan Ryan has just gotten into the fast food business.
SM writer Tortilla Torres, said that the pitcher who holds over 400 pitching records; including one that will never, ever be broken - 7 no hitters, said that the reason why he chose to buy 7 Whataburgers is because he likes the number 7.
Ryan then added "Oh and the fact that Whatburgers are way better than McDonalds burgers, and Burger King burgers, and Jack-in-The-Box burgers and yes, even those In 'N' Out burgers also had a lot to do with me picking the burger chain that President Joe Biden said he and his wife try to visit at least once a week."
Ryan pitched for four teams during his amazing 27-year career; the New York Mets, The California Angels, the Houston Astros, and the Texas Rangers.
SIDENOTE: After retiring in 1993, at the age of 46, Ryan was offered a one-year contract for $4.7 million to pitch in the Baja California League for The Tijuana Tamale Packers. He respectfully declined.
