Ravens deploy their infamous 'Scarecrowing' tactic.

Police were called after an ill-tempered rival women's hockey match, spiralled out of control.

After being recipients of some fiery and unpenalized challenges, the visiting Ravens team, decide to'even things up'by deploying their infamous 'Scarecrowing' tactic.

'Scarecrowing' is a move conceived by the Ravens and it involves the use of three hockey sticks, in order to neutralize and humiliate the recipient.

Two hockey sticks are unceremoniously shoved through each arm of an opponent's top whilst the third is stuffed down the back of it.

Once the sticks are wedged tightly into place, the unfortunate victim, resembles its bird scaring namesake and becomes incapable of any further involvement in a game.

In a police statement to the press, the appropriately named, Sergeant Gummidge, reported that on arrival. we discovered three of the home team staked to the ground, having been victims of 'Sarecrowing' by their opponents.

Their action sparked a mass brawl, which only subsided after the stuffing had been knocked out of the Ravens!

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
