HOLLYWOOD - The Disney animated musical Frozen is giving Hunger Games a run for its money.

Frozen took in an amazing $90 million in just the first five days it was out.

It has already become the #1 movie in Pocatello, Idaho; Apalachicola, Florida; Kalamazoo, Michigan; Lafayette, Louisiana; and Sheboyan, Wisconsin.

Reports coming out of Europe are that Barcelona, Spain has had over $200,000 in advance ticket sales.

Even Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that he can hardly wait to see the movie since parts of the film resemble certain areas of Russia.

  1. The original title was Frozen Like The Iceberg That Sunk The Titanic, but it was soon changed to the shorter name.
  2. The character Olaf The Snowman was developed as a tribute to Frosty The Snowman.
  3. The song "Let It Go," which was sung by Demi Lovato was originally supposed to have been sung by The Fa Shizzle Ma Nizzle Chumpz but they were performing on a concert tour of Australia.
  4. Vice-President Joe Biden and Mrs. Biden saw the movie and both said that it is the best movie that they have ever seen.
  5. The reindeer Sven is based on an actual reindeer that lives in North Dakota and is interestingly enough named Nevs, which is Sven backwards.
  6. Kristen Bell said that she took the character Anna's voice from a pole dancer she met while visiting Queens, New York, two years ago.
  7. Chris Buck who is credited as one of the directors and writers also provided his personal catering truck to the cast and crew.
  8. Paris Hilton says that she did not like the movie because all of the snow and ice made her feel cold, and she hates feeling cold.
  9. Idina Menzel who provided the voice for Elsa, the character whose powers cast the kingdom in ice and snow, said that she had nightmares about that scene for five weeks.
  10. The song "Frozen Heart" is sung by the entire cast of Frozen with special cameo appearances by Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, and Ke$ha.
