Some House Democrats voted against the Infrastructure Bill because they felt the Bill should have provided childcare coverage.
Listen up House members: Taxpayers were not in bed with the parents when parents decided to add a third child to their family.
Why should their hard-earned tax dollars pay for someone else's childcare instead of the nation's crumbling infrastructure?
Message to mothers and fathers who need childcare: Stay home and take care of your own decision to have that child, or add a second or third child to your family.
Or as Shelley Long told Rhea Perlman in the television series CHEERS, after Perlman announced she was pregnant again, "Didn't they teach you anything about birth control in Hygiene Class while you were in high school?"
Huge families are great if you can afford one, but most couples are already paying off their student loans and can't even purchase a home, much less provide for childcare.
Maybe they should have considered a State College and graduated with less debt but have a degree. Now there's a free and fast lesson in economics.
So members of the House of Representatives, consider a bill to introduce Birth Control classes in high schools, colleges, banks that provide student loans, Headhunter offices, Boardrooms, and add to a flight attendant's directions while explaining emergency escape procedures, etc.
In other words, try and catch the chicken before it crosses the road.
